Sheri Sharman Spotlights Dr. Werner Langer

Dr. Werner Langer our  81 years young Silver Sales Leader invited my mom Imo Sharman and me to his church, the architecturally renown Crystal Cathedral  in Garden Grove, California on Sunday May 27 for a special Memorial Day service.  It was day that will be remembered always.

Dr. Robert Schuller along with the chaplain from Camp Pendelton shared inspiring words along with the glorious songs of faith and freedom backed by the 16,000 pipe organ!  Werner was so handsome, standing proud greeting all those who sit each week in his special section.  After 24 years of greeting them and making them feel welcomed they have become like family to him.  He walked into this magnificent church in 1983 having just arrived from Canada with a heart full of love and a desire to serve.  On Sunday May 27th, 2007, Werner stood erect and proud to be an American, wearing his flag lapel pin right next to another cherished pin, his “10″ Club pin from ViaViente.

The message that day was “The Flag Still Flies.”  And it was a glorious flag 90 feet wide and 90 feet high hanging from the 13 story high sanctuary.  When I asked Werner what that phrase means to you, he answered, “The Flag will always fly, it will always be there representing our precious freedom.  It has remained flying free for many generations and will continue because of the love and commitment so may have given their life for.”

The service continued outside on a sunny California day with a 21 gun salute and the release of the doves in honor of so many who share Werner’s love for this country.  Werner says, “Everyone should get on their knees and kiss the American soil, be happy, be thankful, and be proud to be an American.”  Werner knows this first hand, a veteran of WWll he was stationed in Russia with the German Army, serving in a position equivalent to our US Marine Corp.  He moved to Canada in 1951 and then to California in 1983.

Werner has a special place in the hearts of many in the ViaViente family.  Werner has many fans including myself, Imo and Tracy Jacobsen his upline Gold Sales Leader.  Last year he achieved the level of Silver Sales Leader and was awarded a special award by Craig Keeland this past January at the World Wide Conference in Dallas.  Werner has had some major health challenges this past year, but his strong faith and his commitment to others is what has kept him forging forward leading his team.  Recently he had a bout in the hospital and set his mind to being released in time to attend a Millionaire Secret Workshop with us in Los Angeles.  His good friend and Via team mate Peter Sonnentag picked him up from the hospital and drove him to the training.  Werner said it was great therapy for him!   He has become an inspiration to so many.

When asked what he would like to share with his ViaViente family he told me, ”Everyone in ViaViente should feel very privileged to be a part of this wonderful company.  The honesty and dependability of this company from Craig Keeland down is a reflection of the freedoms that we all have living in America.  Give your business everything that you’ve got, be grateful and be proud!”
I could not agree more with Werner.  ViaViente truly allows us the opportunity to create financial and time freedom regardless of color, gender or age.

Tracy Jacobsen was not able to share in this special Memorial Service with Werner, but she would like to share this poem that was written by her 16 year old son, Miles who dedicates this poem to Werner.  Miles just as Werner has a devoted love for his country and the American flag.  He is in his second year of Cadet Corp with plans of entering the United Stares Air Force and is an example of many who are willing to protect our freedom. 

The Flag Still Flies

Slowly in the breeze she flutters she blows.
Quietly in the summer she basks in the suns’ glow.

Ferociously in the Fall she battles the harsh winds blows.
Heroically in the winter she stands guard from all foes.

On July 4th she makes merry, for it is her 224th Birthday!

Sheri Sharman Spotlights L Sullivan & Lumeria The Healing Spa

Sheri Sharman interviews L Sullivan, Founder and President of Lumeria The Healing Spa located in Marina Del Rey, CA.
I was personally introduced to L by Shellie Powers who is working with Gold Sales LeaderTracy Jacobsen. Shellie is well aware of my love for visiting Spas and incorporating natural healing alternatives along with my Via into my daily lifestyle. Sheri: Hi L. Please share with our reader what the name Lumeria mean?
L - The name Lumeria, like the spa itself, integrates two key concepts. The first is Science and Technology. The word lumen is a scientific measurement of light energy. And light energy is our life force. The second is Health and Healing. We have all heard of Atlantis, the mythical ancient civilization; however, many are unaware that there was another more advanced civilization that came before Atlantis and it was called Lemuria. This ancient civilization was known for its use of advanced technologies as well as a reverence for nature and its ability to heal the human body. From these two concepts I created the name Lumeria The Healing Spa to describe a place where advanced technologies and natural healing are combined into unique luxury spa services.

Sheri: Your Spa is just amazing! I know your background was in Engineering and that you have traveled the world working with large corporations in strategic management consulting. What led you to the Spa Industry?
L- Sheri, my newest entrepreneurial venture started 3 years ago with the launching of Lumeria The Healing Spa. Lumeria is the fulfillment of a vision I. had for combining my background in engineering with my passion for health and beauty.
