A Complaint-Free World, by Teri Tomlinson

Last week, one of our Gold Sales Leaders, Heidi Walters, gave me a purple bracelet with instructions on how to wear it to join a movement started by a Rev. Will Bowen to create a complaint free world. He says: “Just for a moment, think about what a positive world this could be—would be—if every one of us on the planet were so focused on what was good in life that we stopped complaining.”

The idea is that every time you complain about something, you have to switch the bracelet to the other wrist. It is unbelievable how conscious you become of the words that come out of your mouth. It has been a lot of fun with our leaders, family and grandchildren participating.

I was talking to Craig Keeland about this, and he thought it would be a great idea if all of our leaders got involved in this simple project and passed it on to their teams. What an amazing company feeling we could create as we work together toward a complaint free world!

The bracelets are free and available at www.acomplaintfreeworld.org

Dallas Area Vía Distribution Agents Are Making New Friends for Vía!

Dallas Distribution Agents passed out Vía shots and product literature at a local Vía sponsored event Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16. Building a successful VíaVienté business means taking every opportunity to meet new people, share our product, and spread the word about our business opportunity. Last Saturday and Sunday, VíaVienté Distribution Agents teamed up with Vía Corporate and St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas, to do just that.

The St. Andrew UMC Fall Fair was created to introduce more people in the community to the church. The event began with a 5K Race and 1 Mile Run/Walk, followed by a Basketball Tournament for boys and girls grades 5 – 12, and family-friendly entertainment. With nearly 3,000 people in attendance, this event was a perfect opportunity to get the word out about VíaVienté.

Dallas Gold Sales Leader Bruce Matsuno said, “Our team participates in events several times a year to introduce new people to VíaVienté. Because Vía was one of the sponsors of the St. Andrew event, it made it possible for our group to run a booth for the weekend and get new people excited about Vía. It’s great to get involved in these local events to promote our product and Share Health and Hope Around the World.”

Craig’s Message: Keep the Joy In Your Heart!

Keep the Joy in Your Heart that God Instilled in You.

Always See the Positive

Always Believe the Positive

Always Live the Positive.

There are times when the evil side will want to Steal The Joy in Your Heart! Always Keep up Your Shield. Just like the Knight on the White Horse keeps up his Shield to protect him, Keep Up your Shield to Protect the Joy in Your Heart. Keep the Shield in front of You to protect your heart, just like the shield the knight used to protect his heart .

One lady wrote me this email:

– Yes, but Craig you don’t understand. How can you stay positive in a negative world ?

A person I know told me to Invest in a deal that would make me a lot of money. He would personally guarantee that I would not lose money. All my money was lost. This person lied to me and others. He even told others that he paid me back and that too was a lie. How can I stay positive when my family and I have our home in foreclosure? –

Simple - I’m not saying it is easy because this is an opening for evil. For the devil to come into your life and make you angry, make you bitter, make you hate life or make your health go bad.

Keep in mind, the money is already lost. Ruining your health or losing The Joy in your heart will not change any of this. What you should learn out of this is that if something sounds too good to be true, it is. Try not to get around those people. Hang around with people you do trust.

Look at the personnel in our Corporate Office. I receive compliments on them all the time from many different people of all walks of life. I trust them, they represent our Company. Sometimes we hire people who don’t work out, and you will find we weed them out quickly. The same holds true for you in your life and your sales team. When you find people who are not trustworthy, or not good people, get them out of your life…..

You say, but Craig – you say that about employees, but what about Leaders in Via?

Keep in mind, that 100% of our sales force is Volunteer. They join, they build, and they get promoted based on sales. Yes, we do have strict guidelines, policies to follow, and when someone in the field points something out that is not right, we will investigate. If it is true and it can be substantiated, we take action. Running an All Voluntary Sales Force is different than running a paid employee Company. Therefore, I can’t give you the same assurances about all leaders in the field as I can about corporate employees. What I will share with you is that I believe that 99% of the people I meet are good people and have good hearts. I live my life always looking for the good in all people, and Focus my life with being surrounded with good people. I don’t judge other people. That’s God’s job. My job is to Keep The Joy in my Heart and not allowing anyone to Steal it, keeping focused on the Good in others, keeping a smile on my face, and Restoring Heath & Hope Around The World!

The Joy in My Heart Always allows me to keep getting Better, Not Bitter.

The Joy in My Heart Always allows me to see the Good in People, not the evil.

The Joy in My Heart Always allows me to Focus on the Solution, Not the Problem !

Join with Me In Always Keeping The Joy in Your Heart !

Craig’s Message – How to Stay in an Income Building Mode and Not Get Off Track...

A close friend of mine shared with me that she had to go back to work to help pay for the children’s education. Her husband has a very high profile job, but not enough salary to pay for their children’s college. She took a job with a Charity that helps young women and asked if I would help her raise money to support the charity so they could pay her.

I said yes I would help, and asked three of my high roller friends to attend a private dinner with her and her husband who is known nationally. The event was only 10 days away when she frantically called and said her husband, who was the draw at dinner, could not attend. This presented a huge problem for me because it was my reputation on the line and my request to my high roller friends to contribute to this charity with the promise of a dinner.

When her assistant called me and left a voice mail wanting to cancel the event, my first thought was, “You have got to be kidding.” Then I said, “That is an opportunity to Think of a Positive Solution for Everyone, and I would think on it later that evening.”

When I got home, the more I thought about it, I thought about myself and all the energy, time, and favors I called in to help her. A friend called me and asked how I was doing. I said I was having a pitty party. We laughed. When I hung up, I said to myself that I must do what I tell her and others to do. Not get Bitter, Get Better !

I began by praying for her. She would be under high stress. I asked God to give me the Wisdom to make this a Win Win Situation and to not get bitter, but to get better. I went to sleep and put it on God’s Table to Guide me, not my table. I knew if this didn’t work out, it was because God had something better in store for her and me.

The next morning she called me at 10am and was highly stressed. She didn’t sleep last night. I told her to relax. She came up with two alternatives, and I said to her, “Let’s think about it today. I will call you in the evening to discuss this further.”

Even though things looked bad, I felt that a workable winning solution would come to us. After we hung up, she called back 30 minutes later and said her husband could attend the dinner with her.

My story is the same Story You Face. Sometimes on a daily basis, sometimes on a weekly basis, sometimes on a monthly basis. But Rest Assured, You and Members of your Sales Team Do Face this Same Situation.
It is a little different for you. You are Recruiting People to VíaVienté to Join as a FastTracker, a Distribution Agent, or a Preferred Customer.

People tell you they are joining, and you get excited, but something comes up and they don’t join.

More than likely, you can’t control why they don’t join just like I couldn’t control her husband’s schedule. Don’t let Factors out of your Control, Control YOU. If you do lose Control you will get disappointed, disenchanted, and while you are having a pity party, your business is Not Growing.

When you think about it, ask yourself, “Why should I let myself get down when I don’t get someone to join who said they would or should join, when it will negatively impact my Income?” Realistically, I would not.

You can Train Your Brain Not to Think Emotionally. Thinking emotionally lets you begin a pity party that could last for a week, two weeks, a month or more. The only loser in this situation would be YOU.

So Focus on Realistic Thinking, that says, “I can’t control other people or what they tell me even if they do not tell me the truth. By Not Letting Others Control Me, I Can Work More Productively, thereby making more money !

You may ask, “But Craig, every day I face Rejection. How Do I Train Myself to NOT let it bother me?”

Put up a Breast Shield. This protects your heart. Let everything Bounce off of it just like the Knights did in the Middle Ages. Visualize yourself as a Knight on a White Horse with a Big Silver Shield.

Always Being the Victor and never the Victim!

Always Be the Better Person. And Don’t Allow Anyone to make you Bitter!

Always Be Loving Life Every Day!

Tell Yourself: Staying in A Good Mode by Training ME Makes Me More Money!
