Craig’s Message – Staying Positive in a Negative World
It’s another great week here at VíaVienté’s Worldwide Corporate Headquarters. Mike Brosnan, our VP of Sales Leader Support for Asia Pacific, has just returned from a three-week tour of Asia Pacific. The numbers show that enrollments and sales are up globally. Also Bart Dangerfield, our VP of Sales Leader Support for North America, has several more stops on his two-week road trip.
Gold School is fast approaching. When the Gold School attendees arrive, they will be treated to an elegant dinner and awards ceremony at the Morton Meyerson Center here in Dallas where VíaVienté will be honored as one of Dallas’ Top 100 Companies.
Just last week, I received an email from a lady asking advice on how to stay positive in a negative world. She was experiencing hard times, and she was seeing the world as a negative place. But you know, when you look at the whole world, I’ve never seen so many people increasing their standard of living worldwide. And this is because of the technological advancements that make it easier for people to have people-to-people connections globally.
No matter how much college education you have or how much training, it’s the people-to-people connections that increase your ability to improve your lifestyle.
We have a great promotion going on right now. Some of you are taking advantage of it and some are not. Some are satisfied with what you have and others are enrolling FastTracs and growing their businesses. We are in the people business, and the more people-to-people connections you make, the more you will succeed.
Every day I am grateful for all that I am given, and I pray for every one of our distribution agents to excel and achieve their dreams. Don’t let Rejection get you down. You may think Rejection is a negative thing. Just the opposite is true. Out of Rejection comes your Direction.
This week stay focused on what you have and not on what you don’t have. Visualize yourself as successful and achieving your dreams. Have an Attitude of Gratitude, and Be a Light WHEREVER you go. Take the opportunity to meet more people and introduce them to our product and our business opportunity. Take advantage of the FastTrac AutoShip Promotion and grow your income.

Dallas VíaVienté Distributors were out in force on Saturday, October 20 to sample product to THOUSANDS of Komen Race for the Cure participants.
Vía’s Dallas Area team, led by Gold Sales Leader Bruce Matsuno, joined more than ten thousand Race for the Cure participants in Dallas last weekend. Bruce’s awesome team introduced hundreds of new prospects to our product and collected contact information for follow up on the business opportunity.
“Our group really has this process down to a science. We invite people to try VíaVienté and then sign up for a raffle for three bottles of product. After the event, our team follows up with each one of our raffle participants. Events like these are great lead generators for our team!” says Bruce.
Thank you to all who contributed to the event and made it a great success. Along with introducing new prospects to VíaVienté, you are joining in the Komen Foundation’s fight against breast cancer and helping Kick Cancer to the Curb!

Spotlighting Sheri Sharman
Sheri Sharman has come a long way from struggling single mom and pre-school teacher. After a friend introduced her to our industry, nothing has been the same!
This industry has given Sheri time freedom and the ability to live life beyond her wildest dreams. She was able to go from making $11,000 a year as a teacher to a six figure income in her first year in direct marketing. More importantly, she was able to work from home and be with her son Eric.
Sheri says, “Being able to be there for my son and have unlimited income really drove me to succeed. This is the only industry I know of where someone like me with just a high school education can make a six to seven figure income. Best of all, I have the opportunity to train others to do the same so they can live their dreams.”
She feels that people often make this business too complicated. Her goal is to keep it simple.
“I taught pre-school at a Montessori school, and the Montessori principles are very simple and basic. When I started in this industry, I had to overcome my aversion to the idea of sales. It all came together when I changed my mindset to focusing on helping people. Then I could take my love of teaching and transform it into building and supporting a team and teaching them how to be successful.”
Sheri is also very involved with the Andes Children’s Foundation and is serving on the ACF Board of Ambassadors. After traveling to Vilcabamba, Sheri and her mother Imo decided to give donations to the ACF in each other’s name for Christmas.
“I love that Via gives back to the children of Vilcabamba. This is an amazing thing that Via does that that we can all participate in.”
We asked Sheri to answer some fun and revealing questions:
What would you be doing if you were not working with ViaViente:
“I would be making educational movies that inspire people to be their best in life. I love the process of producing the DVD projects that I have worked on. Being part of that creative process is really exciting for me.”
What is your greatest fear?
“Skydiving WAS my greatest fear, but I did it so it’s not a fear anymore. One of my favorite quotes is from Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, ‘Do what you fear, and your fear will die.’ I push myself to do what is uncomfortable so that I can become fearless.”
Do you have a hobby?
“I have a new hobby – Yoga, which I love. I’ve done yoga three times this week. It helps you breath and centers you. Yoga makes you sweat more than a cardio workout. Yoga was something I always wanted to do but avoided. Now I’m going to my 7am class and looking forward to it. I highly recommend it.”
What is your most treasured possession?
“Wow. I can’t think of a treasured possession. My treasured possessions are the adventures that I’ve experienced like being baptized in the River Jordan in Jerusalem and standing on a peak in Machu Picchu. I want to live my life without regrets. I still want to dive in the Great Barrier Reef, visit the Pyramids, Greece and Venice.
Vilcabamba was a huge adventure. I was able to share it with my mom Imo who is my traveling partner. When we arrived in Vilcabamba, I felt like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz when the film went from black and white to Technicolor. Vilcabamba was Technicolor. The sky really is bluer and the air more pure. The children there are so high on life and eager to learn. While we have become so materialistic and think we need things to be happy, they appreciate the little things. Being in that environment with condors soaring through the air and hiking through the jungle is an experience that will be with me forever. It makes me proud to share our product with others and to know that we are giving back to the children there. That is very important to me.”
Guests at my fantasy dinner party would be:
“Oprah Winfrey – I totally admire her and the positive impact she continues to have on the world.
Bill Gates secretary – Because she gets to spend $18 Billion a year on charities. She is the one who researches these charities to make sure the Gates Foundation gift makes it possible to teach people to fish rather than simply giving them a fish.
Norman Vincent Peale – Way before The Secret, he talked about the Power of Attraction.
Nelson Mandela – I admire him and his spirit and his never giving up on his beliefs. No matter how badly he was treated, he still came back and became a driving force in transforming South Africa.
Marie Montessori – She was the first female doctor in Italy, and the establishment didn’t know what to do with her. So they assigned her to an institution for the mentally challenged. She had such success with teaching mentally challenged children that she was asked to start a school for children in a housing project in Rome. The success of that school launched a worldwide interest in her teaching methods.”
What would you like others to know about your ViaViente team?
“I love the mix of people in my team. They range from the mom who needs to make a car payment to medical doctors. One reason that I love this career is that I have the opportunity to work with a person who has no resume. If that person is willing to get out of their comfort zone and work, they can transform their life.”
What advice would you give to your children and your grandson Merric (who is about to be born)?
“Enjoy the ride of life! We worry way too much and stress about things we cannot control. So watch less TV and have way more adventures!”

VíaVienté Welcomes Paul Williamson, MD to the Nutritional Advisory Board
Dr. Williamson is a highly respected physician in Florida and Chairman of the Department of Surgery for Orlando Regional Medical Center. He will be a tremendous asset to our Nutritional Advisory Board.
Dr. Williamson drinks VíaVienté daily and is very excited about our product.
He says:
“It is foolish not to believe that a lot of our aging processes are directly related to what we eat. Much of the nutritional value of our foods has been processed out of our meals. Look at the rampant cardiovascular disease, diabetes, arthritic conditions and disease syndromes that we cannot put a finger on (eg. Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome).
Vía is one of the few to be a whole food source with a degree of predictable benefit. I have been on it consistently for a little less than 3 months now. I tried it 2 years ago but was not compliant.
My taking 2 ounces a day has translated into more vitality, better restful sleep, more energy for work outs, better mood distribution, and less muscle/skeletal pain, which (previously) really bothered me. More over, my recuperative time between workouts is less. In a word, I feel healthier. It has been claimed to improve metabolism, thereby lowering cholesterol and balancing sugar.”
Dr. Williamson is Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Craig Keeland says, “VíaVienté is honored to have this esteemed surgeon as a member of our Nutritional Advisory Board.”
Welcome Dr. Paul Williamson!

Craig’s Message – Keeping It Simple
Our family continues to grow around the world because of everyone that YOU bring into the organization. Our mission is about Restoring Health and Hope Around the World, and YOU make that happen by sharing our fantastic product and business opportunity with others.
Someone emailed me last week asking, “How do you explain our product?” I like getting back to the basics and keeping it simple. So I responded that our product supports your healing and energy. We have the ONLY product on the market that does both.
Others have asked me, “How do you explain our business?” I keep that simple, too. We are a worldwide internet-based distribution company. We share our product through customer-to-customer marketing. That means we share the benefits of our product and our business with others. Our company is Built To Last because we serve a need with our healing and energizing product. Everyone wants healing and energy. And that is how we Restore Health and Hope Around the World.
Your job is very simple. You get new enrollments, you stay in touch with them to keep them in your team, and you lead them to do the same. Stay focused on New Enrollments, Retention, and Leading Others to do the Same.
There are Seven Secrets that I have always maintained to living and loving life with VíaVienté:
Expand Your Vision. You want to reach out of your box and expand your vision every day.
Develop a Healthy Self Image. I wish people would read materials and watch programs that would be a positive influence and not add to the negative influences in our lives.
Discovering the Power of Your Thoughts and Words, because thoughts and words have tremendous power.
Letting go of the Past. I have to remind myself of this all the time, but it is so important to let go of the past so you can move forward into the future.
Finding Strength Through Adversity. Through adversity you become closer to other people, you build tighter relationships, and you find that there is a bigger plan for you.
Living to Give. By giving you will achieve true happiness.
Choose to be Happy. We have every reason to be happy, but we have to CHOOSE to be happy.
We have so many great things going on right now and some great things that we will be launching in the near future! Have a tremendous VíaVienté week!
