Vía Distributors spread the word about Vía to Houston Business Expo attendees.

VíaVienté Distributors Galina Galperin, Valentina Lisinski, Yelena Melendez, and James Russell spread the word about the benefits of VíaVienté during the Houston Business Expo at the Houston Hyatt Regency Hotel November 1.

Visitors and exhibitors showed much interest in the great taste and wonderful health benefits of VíaVienté. Our VíaVienté Houston team was among several hundred vendors who promoted their businesses and products to the Houston business community.

Craig’s Message – Seizing Your Opportunities

You are VíaVienté’s most important family members, and I appreciate you. It is so exciting to be where we are today. I want you to know that we have more excitement going on in VíaVienté all over the world TODAY than any other time in our history.

Opportunities come our way all of the time. When those God-given opportunities appear in your life, don’t let them get away from you.

I missed an opportunity recently when a friend called to invite me to watch a NASA lift-off with him and his family. I had something else scheduled and asked him if I could take a rain check for the event. He said that would be no problem. He called me after the event to tell me what I had missed.

He said it was the most unbelievable experience he had ever had. He and his friends and family had to stand three miles from the launch site because that is the closest place that you can be and still be safe. He told me that when the rocket fires up and lifts-off from the ground, it shakes everything for miles around as it blasts into the sky.

CY Leads VíaVienté Taiwan To Unprecedented Growth

Thanks to Presidential Sales Leader CY Liu, company growth in Taiwan is going through the roof!

CY has been with VíaVienté since 2006, driving the company’s introduction into Taiwan. Months before Vía’s scheduled entrance into the Taiwan market in Fall 2006, CY lobbied Vía Corporate to start test marketing product sales in Taiwan with his group. 

CY’s leadership during the introduction of Vía into Taiwan was so successful that CY achieved Gold in his first month with Vía. Since that time, CY has achieved Platinum and Presidential Sales Leader status and has helped three people in his group achieve Platinum rank promotions and one person “Super Mary Ku” achieve Presidential in this short time.

CY is a true leader with an incredible ability to mobilize his leaders to excellence. Most days he works eighteen to twenty hours, traveling all over Taiwan and now other Asian countries to work with and train his team. CY now has Vía Team Members in the US, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and other international markets.

Under his leadership, VíaVienté has become officially registered in Taiwan. CY led the celebration at Taiwan’s Grand Opening Launch celebration in October with a capacity crowd of 1,200 Taiwan Vía Family in attendance. The event included traditional Chinese drummers, special multimedia presentations and key-note speech by Vía Founder and CEO Craig Keeland.

Craig Keeland Guest At Banquet Honoring Texas Governor Rick Perry

Texas Governor Rick Perry was recently honored by the Boy Scouts of America at the Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner in Austin, Texas. Craig Keeland was Governor Perry’s personal guest. On October 30, more than 600 people gathered to honor Texas Governor Rick Perry, the recipient of the Boy Scouts of America 2007 Distinguished Citizen Award. Roger Williams, former Texas Secretary of State, served as the event Chairman.

Vía Founder and CEO Craig Keeland was personally invited by Governor Perry to sit at his table along with Roger Williams and Phil Adams, Texas Insurance Executive and VíaVienté Shareholder.

Governor Rick Perry achieved the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man. The Distinguished Citizen Award is presented annually to a person whose leadership in business, industry, government, education, Scouting or community endeavors contributes significantly to the growth and vitality of the Texas region. The awards dinner benefits Scouting programs across Texas, including programs for disadvantaged youth.

Craig says, “I was honored that Rick invited me to sit at his table for this event. Rick deserves this honor for his public service and integrity. Scouting teaches you great skills for life. I’m proud to say that my son Cassidy is an Eagle Scout and my younger son Chase is on his way to becoming one.”

Both Rick Perry and Phil Adams are long-time VíaVienté drinkers and supporters.

VíaVienté’s On-Going Commitment To The Komen Foundation

Why would thousands of people walk sixty miles in three days? Because Everyone Deserves a Lifetime! On October 26, more than two thousand women and men gathered at Southfork Ranch east of Dallas well before dawn to begin the sixty mile trek over three days for the Breast Cancer 3-Day. This event is one of more than one hundred Komen Foundation events around the world that raises money for breast cancer research and education. The goal is to eradicate breast cancer worldwide.

Friends walk in celebration and memory of friends. Moms walk for their daughters, and daughters and sons walk for their moms. Husbands walk for their wives. Every single walker walks for someone who has been touched by breast cancer. Every walker must raise a minimum of $2,200 to participate in the walk. 

Kris Hundt has been training for a solid year to walk the Dallas 3-Day. VíaVienté has been a big part of her training. Vía sponsored Kris with product to support her year of training. “I’m carrying Vía with me to drink all during the walk. Drinking Vía has really helped me prepare for this,” Kris says.

At the end of each day, walkers gather in the tent city that will be their refuge for rest and relaxation before tomorrow’s long journey. Kris says, “We walk twenty miles each day. Some of the walkers are battling breast cancer themselves. It’s really an emotional experience to be out here for three days with almost twenty four hundred people who’ve been affected by breast cancer.”

For those who suffer injuries or exhaustion along the way, sweeper vans are available to rescue them and take them to the next checkpoint for medical assistance. 

Even the crew is here because their lives have been touched by breast cancer. One crew member who lost his wife to breast cancer several years ago participates in four of these events a year. At each event, he brings his Harley and a Pink Hog to give to an individual walker who needs extra emotional support to make it through. 

The Dallas 3-Day raised 6.5 million dollars for breast cancer research and education. Since 1982, the Komen Foundation has raised and donated one billion dollars for breast cancer research and education through events like the

3-Day. Kris says, “If you think one person cannot make a difference in the world, just look at all of these individual people who have come together to end breast cancer for good. They are changing lives with their dedication and courage.”
