Craig’s Message – Accelerate in 2008
Accelerating your Finances, Relationships, Inspirationally, Physically and Spiritually are the key elements of the theme: Accelerate in 2008 to achieve Harmonic Wealth. Developing a balance in your life in these five areas brings you into Harmonic Wealth. This is a place of unique synergy where you will experience maximum joy in living life every day.
This week I’d like to share some thoughts about the Inspirational influences you feed your mind. Do you read books and listen to CDs that inspire and uplift you? Do you feed your mind with positive influences?
We tend to draw to us what we expect in life. This is called The Law of Attraction. It can get very comfortable maintaining the status quo and expecting the same results every single day. But if you don’t expect more from tomorrow than you experienced today, you will continue to get the same results that you’ve always gotten.
The Law of Attraction tells us that your mind is a magnet. If you keep negative thoughts in mind, you can expect negative results. This is true in every aspect of our lives. A well-known cancer specialist, Dr. Carl Simonton, reports that his patients’ recovery typically reflects their expectations of recovery.
Think of your thoughts as invisible clouds that go out and gather up results for you. Feed your brain with positive influences. Discipline your thoughts to maintain a positive outlook. By shaping your thoughts, you determine the results that will show up in your life.
In “The Magic of Believing,” Claude Bristol speaks of the mind’s power to attract. He says, “Our fearful thoughts are just as creative or just as magnetic in attracting troubles to us as the constructive and positive thoughts in attracting positive results.” Simply put, if you think positive thoughts, you will attract positive results. If your thoughts are negative, you will experience negative results.
Once this concept sinks in, you will begin to understand the amazing power that you have to simply program your mind with inspiring and positive thoughts. When you dwell on what you want, you will achieve what you want. In other words, you create your reality and your results by your thoughts.
Start this week by simply improving your thoughts. Pick up an inspiring book and read a few pages every day. Listen to a positive-message CD when you are driving in your car. Feed your mind with positive influences, and you WILL see positive results in your life and your Vía business. Make it a Super Successful Vía Week.

CK Message – 2008: Your Year to ACCELERATE
You probably know Norman Vincent Peale as the author of The Power of Positive Thinking. He was the pastor of Marble Collegiate Church from 1932 until 1984. In that time, the church grew in numbers from 600 to 5000 members. He started a radio program and a magazine, and it is estimated that 750,000 people a month received his inspirational words. In 1952 he wrote the book that made him famous. The Power of Positive Thinking was on the New York Times bestseller list for 186 weeks. Peale preached what millions of people needed to hear and what they knew instinctively to be true: Life Has A Purpose. Each one of us is designed to fulfill a purpose. That purpose is NOT to sit around and feel bad about ourselves. God’s purpose is for us to go out into the world and do great things.
Invent great products. Build great companies. Inspire people.
Critics of Peale’s “Positive Gospel” consider it to be simplistic and shallow. But I want to share with you that this “Positive Gospel” is THE FOUNDATION of the American Dream. It wasn’t invented by Norman Vincent Peale. He just publicized it. It was originally brought to this country by the reformed Calvinists in the 1600s. Benjamin Franklin embraced it and made it practical. Thomas Jefferson called it the “Pursuit of Happiness” and included it in the Declaration of Independence. It is the idea that ANYONE can become a success in America.
In 1937, the worst year of the Great Depression, Napoleon Hill grabbed hold of the “Positive Gospel” and turned it into his book: Think and Grow Rich. Hill wrote that riches are available to ANYONE who changed his attitude. “Thoughts are things,” he wrote. Hill was a devout Christian and did not see any conflict between his success philosophy and his religious faith. Hill stated that the success formula requires a complete and total understanding of the Spirit of Giving. He named this concept The Golden Rule.
In 1936, Dale Carnegie wrote How to Win Friends and Influence People. Carnegie also thought that it is possible to change your destiny by changing your thinking. When Carnegie died in 1955, his book had sold more than 5 million copies.
If you think it, you CAN do it. That is the essence of the American Dream. You can follow the chain from Benjamin Franklin in the 1700s to Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie in the 20th Century. The American Gospel of Hope and Optimism expressed by Norman Vincent Peale has given millions of people a Technicolor picture of the American Dream. If you WANT to achieve the American Dream, you have to SEE IT and BELIEVE IN IT first.
2008: Your Year to Accelerate is the theme I want all of you to surround yourselves with for the upcoming year. This is about bringing Harmonic Wealth into your life.
I want you to Accelerate Harmonic Wealth in 5 areas of your life:
Accelerate your Financial Wellbeing
Accelerate improving your personal Relationships
Accelerate Mentally to reach out and learn new things
Accelerate Physically to eat healthier foods, exercise, and improve your physical wellbeing
Accelerate to a higher Spiritual level, whatever that is for you
Harmonic Wealth means success and happiness in ALL of these five areas of your life. I want you to have the Financial Wealth that you deserve. I want you to have Wealth in the quality of your Relationships with others. I want you to have Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Wealth so you truly experience what it means to be happy.
Many so-called successful people make a tremendous amount of money, but their relationships are rocky. Someone else may be a gifted genius but is physically sick all of the time. Then there are those who seem to be deeply spiritual but are always financially broke.
Think about the harmony created in a musical group or orchestra. That perfect harmony is what I am talking about. The real key to creating the life of your dreams is achieving true Harmonic Wealth. That is where you’ll find contentment, peace-of-mind, and TRULY live the life of your dreams.
This week, think about these five areas of your life. Do you want to double or triple your income in 2008? Do you want your relationships to be on more solid ground? Do you want to plug in to your creativity and mental powers? Do you want to be physically healthier and stronger? Do you want to have a more fulfilled spiritual life? Complete harmony in your life creates your level of happiness and true success.

Craig’s Message – Seizing Your Opportunities
You are VíaVienté’s most important family members, and I appreciate you. It is so exciting to be where we are today. I want you to know that we have more excitement going on in VíaVienté all over the world TODAY than any other time in our history.
Opportunities come our way all of the time. When those God-given opportunities appear in your life, don’t let them get away from you.
I missed an opportunity recently when a friend called to invite me to watch a NASA lift-off with him and his family. I had something else scheduled and asked him if I could take a rain check for the event. He said that would be no problem. He called me after the event to tell me what I had missed.
He said it was the most unbelievable experience he had ever had. He and his friends and family had to stand three miles from the launch site because that is the closest place that you can be and still be safe. He told me that when the rocket fires up and lifts-off from the ground, it shakes everything for miles around as it blasts into the sky.
VíaVienté offers you an opportunity to make more money for you and your family and to build your business to new heights. I want you to always remember to let go of the past and any past problems or doubts that you may have had. Stay focused on where you are today and stay focused on the future and achieving your goals.

Craig Keeland Guest At Banquet Honoring Texas Governor Rick Perry
Texas Governor Rick Perry was recently honored by the Boy Scouts of America at the Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner in Austin, Texas. Craig Keeland was Governor Perry’s personal guest. On October 30, more than 600 people gathered to honor Texas Governor Rick Perry, the recipient of the Boy Scouts of America 2007 Distinguished Citizen Award. Roger Williams, former Texas Secretary of State, served as the event Chairman.
Vía Founder and CEO Craig Keeland was personally invited by Governor Perry to sit at his table along with Roger Williams and Phil Adams, Texas Insurance Executive and VíaVienté Shareholder.
Governor Rick Perry achieved the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man. The Distinguished Citizen Award is presented annually to a person whose leadership in business, industry, government, education, Scouting or community endeavors contributes significantly to the growth and vitality of the Texas region. The awards dinner benefits Scouting programs across Texas, including programs for disadvantaged youth.
Craig says, “I was honored that Rick invited me to sit at his table for this event. Rick deserves this honor for his public service and integrity. Scouting teaches you great skills for life. I’m proud to say that my son Cassidy is an Eagle Scout and my younger son Chase is on his way to becoming one.”
Both Rick Perry and Phil Adams are long-time VíaVienté drinkers and supporters.
